Ecological Perspectives in the Rule of St. Benedict

Description

Inherent in the Rule of St Benedict is a sense of the sacred in all things and a stewardship of the earth. Benedictine communities throughout history and in our times build monasteries in places where they can live in harmony with creation and that speak of God. Join us for a day of exploring the Rule of St Benedict and the Benedictine spirit. The day begins with 9am Eucharist and concludes with 5pm Vespers in the Church. Bring your own lunch. Morning and afternoon tea provided. Cost for the day is $30.

The day begins at 9 am with Mass and ends at 4.45 pm.
Those attending are welcome to stay for Vespers at 5 pm.
